Ordering, Shipping, Returns and Privacy information

Below you will find all the help and information you should require should you hit a technical shield wall or find your order hit by a shipping issue!

Making A Purchase

Simply browse our product range, click on the items you wish to buy and they'll be added to your cart. 

Once your order is complete simply proceed to checkout. You will then be asked for a few details that we need to complete the order, of course once you have a saved account this process will be a lot faster.

Payment for the order will be taken in full. We accept credit/debit card payment via our SECURE and ENCRYPTED shopping cart system.

Should you choose Bank Transfer we do not currently have an automated system, but will send details to pay into either our British Sterling or Euro accounts.

We also accept payments by regular mail if an arrangement is made via email to mercianstorm@gmail.com and the money is sent in British Pounds Sterling by registered mail to the address provided.

Back Orders

Though the stock management system should largely prevent this, we do also offer products that have to be ordered in from our main suppliers and are dependent on their stocking levels. Usually these are kept in large numbers and restocked promptly though unfortunately this is not always the case.

Should it look like taking more than a couple of weeks to obtain said item we will contact you by email (do please check your Junk / Spam folders!!) and let you know if we think we will have it back in soon, whether a replacement would be better or as a last resort for us to process a refund.


All prices, offers and descriptions are subject to change, availability and our conditions of sale, copies of which are available from on request. All errors and omissions excluded. Your access and use of this Website constitutes irrefutable evidence of your consent to be bound by the terms and conditions described.

Shipping And Handling

We aim to ship within a few days of your order though owing to this largely being a one person operation delays can occur, especially during busy times and the festival season when preparing for or working away at events.

All orders are shipped and priced by weight and size. Our shipping estimator can be accessed from your cart and can be used to select your shipping method including special options for tracked deliveries prior to check out. We currently use Royal Mail for most deliveries except where a courier works out cheaper.

If you choose regular mail (UK orders) or airmail (international) as your shipping method, we are NOT responsible for lost packages. Although the most affordable method these packages can unfortunately not be tracked, and are not insured against loss or damage. However for the majority of countries this is not usually a problem.

We will always obtain a proof of posting receipt and do everything we can to get your order to you, but please understand we cannot refund, re-ship, or assume any other responsibility for your order once it has been shipped using this method. For larger orders we recommend choosing a registered shipping method to ensure coverage in case your package is lost or damaged.


Owing to past experiences if you are in MEXICO, INDONESIA, CENTRAL & SOUTH AMERICA – and possibly other countries at our discretion – and are paying with a credit / debit card, we may ask that you pay an additional £5.00 for each order you place so that the order is be shipped via a TRACKED service. This is the SAFEST method of shipping and eliminates any disputes about delivery of your order. Of course if you have already chosen this shipping option there is no issue.

As of 2022 we no longer ship to Russia.


Delivery Schedule

Here at Mercian Storm we process orders from three to seven days a week around other employments. You will be sent an automated correspondence, usually by email, to confirm your order has been processed. We then aim to ship your order within 48 hours of confirming fulfilment.

Of course you will be able to check your order online via your account, but should you have requested a tracked or registered mail service you will be sent the relevant number by email once the order is dispatched.

If you have ordered a limited edition product and it has not arrived within 10 days or you have not received your order within 14 working days, please email mercianstorm@gmail.com quoting your order number and the matter will be looked into urgently. For European orders please add an extra week and further after two weeks so as to give your mail services the best opportunity to deliver.

Returns Policy

We will of course check each item before it is shipped to ensure that you receive a quality product.

However should you not be completely satisfied with your ordered item(s) then please contact the Ealdorman Benjamin at mercianstorm@gmail.com or 0044 (0) 7532472808 with your order details and let us know how you would like to proceed.

Please include a short note detailing the problem and your order number, we will then look to either send a replacement item or refund you depending on the solution already reached by either email or phone

You can return any ordered item to us within 30 days of receiving your order and ask for a refund or an exchange. We do not accept returns or exchanges after the 30 day period unless owing to your location the item did not reach you until after this.

Unfortunately, we cannot refund or exchange returned items that have clearly been worn, washed, soiled or intentionally damaged. If in our opinion any of these situations apply to a returned item we reserve the right to refusal of refund.

Return shipping costs for items of the wrong size, style or colour will need to be paid by the customer. Mercian Storm will cover the return shipping costs for items with clear manufacturing faults or items that have been sent in error.

We will usually only issue a refund when the goods that are to be refunded have been received back to the returns address please contact us for that.


Should you place an order, but then decide that for whatever reason you no longer want the item(s) then you of course have the right to cancel your order and request a full refund.

If the goods have already shipped before the order is cancelled then you will be required to pay the return shipping cost of the item(s) before we can issue the refund as per our 14 day right-to-return policy. We will not issue a refund until we receive all goods that are to be refunded back to the above return address.

Privacy Policy

“We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties”

On occasion we may share your Personal Information with companies that are affiliated with us and with other companies to perform services, including without limitation, facilitating some aspects of our Site, sending e-mail, fulfilling purchase requests, delivering orders, processing credit cards and payment information, serving, customising or delivering marketing material, and auditing. These companies may be supplied with or have access to your Personal Information and non- Personal Information solely for the purpose of providing these services, such as the delivery of your order, to us or on our behalf. We have agreements with these companies that prevent them from using your Personal Information for any purpose other than what we require them to do with it.

The Site Owner may occasionally send you e-mail messages about products and services where you have specifically consented to receive such information. Only the Ealdorman Benjamin will send you said direct mailings. If you do not wish to receive such mailings, you may do so by cancelling your subscription to such email messages by contacting the Site Owner at mercianstorm@gmail.com

We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under the age of 13. Please do not allow children under the age of 13 to provide any Personal Information through this Website. If we learn that a child under the age of 13 has provided Personal Information in violation of our Privacy Policy, we will delete that information as soon as practical. If you learn that a child under the age of 13 has provided Personal Information to us, please send us an email at mercianstorm@gmail.com so we can delete this information.

You acknowledge and agree that the Site Owner, its agents, administrators, employees and affiliates may not be held liable for any damages you or anyone else may suffer or incur as a result of the transmission of confidential or sensitive information over the Internet, and that all such communications will be made at your own risk.

All complaints and requests for access to, or modification or destruction of personal information may be made to the Site Owner who can be reached by any of the aforementioned means."
